About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our innovative team at Bugni Labs. In this role, you will utilize your proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and R to develop robust AI solutions, following best practices in software development, including version control, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment. You will leverage your expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn, to develop and implement advanced models and algorithms. Your experience with deep learning techniques, as well as your skills in data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation using big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka, will be essential.
The role requires a strong understanding of supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques, with experience in natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision algorithms. You will be responsible for deploying machine learning models in production environments using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes will be critical for scaling and deployment.
You will design and implement scalable AI systems that integrate with existing infrastructure, utilizing your experience. Additionally, your skills in data visualization and interpretation, will enable you to communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, resources, and budgets, while conducting code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality code. Strong collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business analysts. Requirements
Technical Expertise
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and R. Experience with software development best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). Expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn. Experience with deep learning techniques and frameworks. Strong skills in data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation. Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB). Experience in developing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning algorithms. Strong understanding of supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques. Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision algorithms. Experience in deploying machine learning models in production environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud for model deployment and scaling. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Ability to design and implement scalable AI systems that integrate with existing infrastructure. Experience with microservices architecture and API development. Skills in data visualization tools and libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, or Power BI. Ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. A PhD is a plus. Understanding of the financial services industry is a plus. Experience with financial data and developing AI solutions for financial applications such as credit scoring, fraud detection, and risk assessment.
